Privacy Policy - NACO CSC App

1. Introduction on Privacy Policy for NACO CSC App

NACO respects your privacy rights and is committed to protecting your personal information collected through NACO CSC application (hereinafter referred to as "NACO CSC app"). This application is hosted on secure servers and content is managed by National AIDS and STD Control Organization (NACO). The terms and conditions of this privacy policy shall be governed by regulations applicable in the country. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Government of India.

The information posted on this application may include hypertext links or pointers to information created and maintained by nongovernmental or private organizations. The application provides these links and pointers solely for your information and convenience. When you select a link to an external website, you are leaving this application and are subject to the privacy and security policies of the owners/sponsors of the external website.

2. User Account & Personal Information

Using NACO CSC app requires users to register in the system. Certain personal information and contact details such as username, password, mobile number, and email address are required to log into your account, retrieve forgotten account information, and protect your account from unauthorized access.

3. Emails & SMS

By providing your email address and mobile number as registration details, you consent to receiving emails and SMS from the CSC application. NACO will use your email address and mobile number to send related information and updates. We reserve the right to send you important program-related emails and SMS.

4. Passwords

Your user account is protected by a password. The initial password may be a system generated password. It is recommended that you change it to your personalized password immediately upon your first login. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and not sharing it with anyone.

5. Disclosure

Your name and registration details shall remain confidential and will not be available to anybody other than you, authorized application personnel, and program implementation and evaluation teams. Information on your usage, frequency of usage, and progress on your trainings within the CSC program will be collected by the system and used for internal analysis by NACO. This data shall not be shared with any third party except with authorized authorities as required by applicable regulations.

6. Logging Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use this service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

7. Automatically Collected Information

The NACO CSC app may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.

When you visit the NACO CSC app, it may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within and display a location map.

The location information may be sent to authorities for taking necessary actions and making policy decisions. If you do not want the app to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application. However, if the service provided by the Application requires the location services using GPS technology, such services offered by the application will not be available to you.

We may disclose User provided and Automatically Collected Information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request with our trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information. we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

8. Misuse by Non-Targeted Users

All mobile apps are meant for use by the targeted audience only. Misuse by nontargeted users should be prevented by owner of the mobile.

9. Data Retention Policy, Managing your Information

We will retain User provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information also for a reasonable period of time depending on the nature of application and thereafter may store it in aggregate. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

10. Standard browser data collected

For browsing our application, the NACO CSC app will collect regular server logs, which include IP (Internet Protocol) address, domain name, browser type, operating system, files you downloaded, pages you visited, and date and time stamps of your visit. We use Cookies to enhance your navigation on our site.

11. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 15. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 15. In the case we discover that a child under 15 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

12. Security

NACO CSC app utilizes industry-standard security measures to protect your data. The application employs encryption protocols and security features to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of your data during transmission. However, please be aware that no data transmission over the internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
